Oh my. This was going to be my “year in review” post, but here it it mid-February already! I’m going to use the excuse that it took me a whole month to recover from all the excitement and activity of 2013, and leave it at that!
And what lies ahead? My classes are filling up quickly — that’s exciting! I love to teach, and seemingly my class participants are enjoying my style as they are coming back for more. I’ve just updated my teaching calendar, so if you’d like to join in, have a look. And if you have an idea for a class, please let me know!
My “traditional” guild, the Langley Quilters Guild, is gearing up for our Show in May. I’m working on a couple of entries for that, and have plans for a whole lot of goodies to whip up to sell in the Boutique. I’ll keep you posted on how that goes!
My “modern” guild, Fraser Valley Modern Quilt Guild, is also gearing up for a show. We are playing a significant role at the Creative Stitches ….. Alive! show in Abbotsford. That’s coming quickly, at the end of March! Yikes, I’d better get going on my Modern Mini Challenge quilt for that! And some of my modern quilts will need sleeves attached if I want to display them.
I have several quilt patterns I’m working on, lining up pattern testers to try them out, so watch for new releases soon. And I have lots of new fabric-y goodies just waiting to be bundled and photographed. Watch for special pricing and a free shipping announcement!
